Koh Maphrao, also known as Coconut Island, is a small island located 1,5 km off Phuket’s east coast just outside of Phuket Town. The resort operates a frequent speed boat for 16 hours of the day, and long tails operate 24 hours - it takes only five minutes by long-tail boat to reach Coconut Island’s main pier, situated on the northern part of its west coast, facing Phuket. From the international airport it takes 50 to 60 minutes door to door.
